A teenage girl named Nemo leads a reclusive lifestyle. She lives with her dad at the lighthouse, which is located on an island located far from civilization. Despite the remoteness from the "big" earth, relatives are never bored, because the rich imagination of the father constantly comes up with fascinating stories that find reality in the fantasies of the daughter.

The imaginary idyll suddenly ends when the caretaker disappears into the open sea without a trace. Left alone, the girl was forced to move in with her uncle Philip. The man has been living in the city for a long time, ensuring his own existence by making door handles to order. Dissatisfied with the monotony of the city, the main character tries to entertain herself by plunging into dreams. In an amazing, albeit invented world, a young person gets acquainted with a kind of rebel Flip, who does not want to obey generally accepted rules.
